These terms apply when you book a session through minzinmuaythai.com and when you train with Minzin Muay Thai. By booking a session you agree to them. Please read the section on physical risk carefully — Muay Thai is a contact sport.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Minzin Muay Thai" mean the sole-trader personal training business operating in Craigieburn, Victoria (ABN: TODO-ABN-NUMBER). "You" means the person booking or attending a session.
Bookings
A session is confirmed the moment you complete the booking form and receive a confirmation email. Bookings are made for a specific date, time and program, and are held for you alone.
While you are filling in your details, your chosen time slot is reserved for ten minutes. If you do not finish within that window, the slot is released and becomes available to others.
We do our best to honour every confirmed booking. If Minzin is unwell, injured or otherwise unable to train you, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time.
Arriving late
Sessions start and finish at the booked time. If you arrive late, the session will still end as scheduled so the next student is not delayed.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Your confirmation SMS and email both state the exact deadline for your specific booking and include a link to cancel it.
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice can be rescheduled at no cost. Cancellations inside 24 hours, and sessions you do not attend, may be charged in full, since the time was reserved for you and cannot be offered to anyone else at short notice.
We understand that genuine emergencies, illness and injury happen. Talk to Minzin — this policy is applied with common sense, not rigidly.
To cancel, use the cancellation link in your booking confirmation SMS or email. It takes one click, works at any hour, and frees the time up for someone else straight away. You can also contact Minzin directly by phone, SMS or WhatsApp using the details on our contact page — and you will need to, if you want to reschedule rather than cancel, since the cancellation link only cancels.
If Minzin ever has to cancel a session, you will be notified by SMS and email, and the session will be rescheduled at no cost.
Payment
Current pricing is shown on the training page and on the booking form. Prices are in Australian dollars.
When you book, you choose how to pay: cash on the day, or online by card.
If you choose cash, nothing is charged through this website and you pay Minzin directly at your session.
If you choose to pay by card, your session is confirmed first and you are then taken to a secure checkout hosted by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details are entered on Stripe's systems, not ours — this website never sees, handles or stores your card number. Stripe issues its own receipt by email.
Your session is booked either way. If you don't complete the card payment, your booking still stands and Minzin will arrange payment with you.
We may change our prices at any time, but never for a session you have already booked. If you cancel within the cancellation window described above and you have already paid by card, your payment will be refunded to the card you paid with; refunds normally take a few business days to appear.
Physical activity, health and risk
Muay Thai is a strenuous contact sport. Training involves striking pads, physical conditioning, and movements that carry a genuine risk of injury — including sprains, strains, bruising, and more serious injury. By booking a session you acknowledge and accept that risk.
Your responsibility
You agree that:
- You are medically fit to take part in strenuous physical exercise
- You will tell Minzin, before training, about any injury, illness, pregnancy, medication or medical condition that could affect your safety
- You will follow Minzin's instructions during the session
- You will stop and tell Minzin immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or distress
If you have a medical condition, or you have not exercised in some time, we strongly recommend speaking to your doctor before starting training.
Equipment
You are responsible for bringing your own gloves and wraps, and for making sure they are in safe condition. Details of what to bring are listed with each program on the training page.
Conduct
Training is one-on-one or two-on-one and depends on mutual respect. We may end a session immediately, without refund, and decline future bookings, if someone behaves aggressively toward the coach, trains while intoxicated, or ignores safety instructions.
Under-18s
Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian make the booking and give consent. The parent or guardian accepts these terms on the young person's behalf.
Liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or removes those rights. You are entitled to a remedy if our services are not provided with due care and skill.
Subject to those rights, and to the extent permitted by law, Minzin Muay Thai is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in training, except to the extent it is caused by our negligence. We are also not liable for loss or damage to personal property brought to a session.
This website
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and the booking system available, but we do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. The calendar shown reflects Minzin's real availability, and occasionally availability may change between the moment you view it and the moment you book.
The content on this site — text, design, code, photographs and video — belongs to Minzin Muay Thai or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent. Student testimonials are published with the permission of the students concerned.
Privacy
Information you give us when booking is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you make a booking is the one that applies to that booking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising under them.
